Approval of Meeting Minutes:
September 8 and October 12, 2009 meeting minutes were approved with corrections.

Marjorie Sanborn reported that a check for $29,000 has been written to the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce to transfer chamber funds to a separate account under EDCCC as part of the process of CLCC becoming a subchapter of it.

Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park:
The park will remain open with a reduction in staffing, services and open bathrooms and parking facilities. The North Beach parking lot, which is heavily used by private boaters, will be closed. The churches will be managed by the Gold Discovery Park Association.

Gateway Signs:
Howard Penn is working on contacting land owners for placement of signs on private properties near the three gateway intersections for the Coloma-Lotus area. He reported that positive responses had been obtained from property owners for two locations, Highway 49 on the south side and Lotus Road on the west side. He is still seeking to contact the owner of a property at a suitable location on Highway 49 on the north side. Deborah Kruse reported that no progress had been made to date on sign images and "branding" messages. It is planned to have a committee meeting in early 2010 to pursue sign design, especially selection of an appropriate icon.

State Route 49 Realignment:
Howard Penn reported that the El Dorado County Transportation Commission (EDCTC) study has finalized the selection of potential routes for realignment of Highway 49 to three choices. Refer to the project website for further information.

Marjorie Sanborn reported that Heather Shakespeare has accepted the paid position of Administrator and Membership Coordinator. A membership committee meeting will be held in December.
