Coloma Blues Live:
Marjorie presented a balance sheet on revenues, expenses and profits for CLCC from Coloma Blues Live (CBL). Total beer ticket sales were $22,837. El Dorado Arts Council (EDAC) the promoter allocated $7970.87 in profits to CLCC and reimbursed $7534.64 in expenses paid by CLCC for a total check to CLCC in the amount of $15,505.51. Profit sharing for next year's CBL event in the form of a fixed flat fee or percent of revenue is currently being negotiated with EDAC. A number of issues relating to CLCC involvement in the event were discussed, including beer ticket sales, serving quantity and vendor costs, total volunteer hours, material and services support and volunteer food provisioning.

On-line membership subscription and renewal will be set up on the website by November 1. Credit card billing will be offered through PayPal system. Checks are planned to be deposited directly to a designated El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce account. Reciprocal memberships, such as those with the American River Conservancy and Gold Discovery Park Association, will continue.

CLCC as Subchapter of El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce:
Howard Penn, who is now the CLCC representative to the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce (EDCCC), explained the impacts of operating under its charter as an affiliate. Revenue accounting would consist of a fixed administrative fee or revenue sharing (2-5% of gross). The EDCCC board is scheduled to vote on CLCC membership in two weeks. A motion for CLCC to affiliate with EDCCC was made by Marjorie, seconded and passed by members present.

CLCC Board of Directors:
Marjorie proposed that the current CLCC officer positions (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer) be eliminated and replaced with an Executive Committee. Members of this committee would be nominated based on meeting attendance records over the last year. Nominations would be confirmed by a vote submitted to the membership via E-mail, with a non-response counted as a "yes" vote. This advisory committee would meet monthly with all members free to attend meetings, but voting on CLCC business matters would be its sole responsibility. It was agreed that Marjorie would send out an E-mail to the general membership discussing this process and submitting her nominees for the committee positions.

El Dorado County Visitors Authority:
Marjorie, who has been attending the El Dorado County Visitors Authority meetings since February, reported on its marketing benefits relative to the Coloma-Lotus area, such as those now enjoyed by Apple Hill.

Coloma-Lotus Guide:
Bob Dalton has been doing local distribution of the Coloma-Lotus Guide since June. About 3000 of 20,000 copies printed remain in the storage locker. Betty Sederquist suggested ways of reducing cost of printing.
